The association of serum C-reactive protein albumin ratio with polycystic ovarian syndrome

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder among women, characterized by various symptoms and long-term risks. Reliable diagnostic methods are needed to predict diagnose PCOS. This study aimed assess the serum C reactive protein/albumin ratio as potential predictor tool for Methods: cross-sectional analytical was conducted at department of obstetrics gynecology, Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, Dhaka, from September 2018 August 2019. The included 80 participants aged 18 45 years, with 40 healthy subjects in group I diagnosed cases PCOS II. Serum C-reactive protein albumin levels were measured, data analyzed using descriptive statistics Unpaired t-tests. Results: had mean age 23.98±2.61, while comparison 23.85±2.79. CRP significantly higher newly (5.73±3.35) compared non-PCOS (2.89±0.85) (p<0.001). CRP: (0.123±0.07) (0.067±0.02) Conclusions: found that CRP/albumin increased subjects, did not differ subjects.
